Sarah "Sadie" Boyle Fenton (1938-2006) Sarah Boyle Fenton 3/13/1938-4/3/2006 was born in Glasgow,Scotland to Thomas Boyle and Mary (Johnson) Boyle, 6 Elder St. Thomas was a shipbuilder and Mary a homemaker. Sadie, to her young friends, attended Catholic school. Sadie, a confectionary worker, married Robert Gunn Fenton, a house painter, on December 26, 1956. The young couple moved to Houston in the early 60's and had two children; Robert Scott Fenton born 1962 and David Allen Fenton born 1967. Robert and Sarah were highly involved with the Scottish crowd in Houston in the 60's and early 70's. The Heather & Thistle group as well as the Burns supper group, not to mention the early days of the Highland games. Sarah and Robert later divorced and then Sarah ran her own business the Frame Factory #21. She later sold the business and started a long career with Exxon, in which she became the nation-wide manager of the year. She worked their until unable to work anymore. Sarah's health was a major part of her later life. She fought hard to put on a happy face for every person she encountered. Her older sister May Souter passed away very recently and this devastated Sarah. Sarah's last words were, "May's here to get me. I'm going home." I said, "You go Mom, I love you"...
