Alice Katherine Banker Kulak (1910-2002)

Alice Katherine Banker Kulak, 91, of Boling died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002 in Bay City. She was born June 9, 1910 in Needville, the daughter of Henry Banker and Emma Abendroth Banker.  Mrs. Kulcak was a homemaker and a 56-year resident of Boling. She married Edward John Kulak in Oct. 1927 and was preceded in death by him in 1990. Mrs. Kulak was a member of the Boling United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Wharton Funeral Home with the Rev. Pauline Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in the Needville Public Cemetery.  Pall bearers are Darrel Kulak, John David Kulak, Steven Kulak, Mack McLeod, Michael McLeod, Thomas Kulak, Charles Henry Kulak Jr. and Glenn Kulak.  Friends may call at the Wharton Funeral Home, 515 Boling Highway in Wharton, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kathrine and Don Mack McLeod of Boling; sons and daughters-in-law, John Edward and Adeline Kulak of Boling and Charles Henry and Patsy Kulak Sr. of Boling; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
