Charles Wesley Pascoe (1948-2006)

Charles Wesley Pascoe Charles Wesley "Wes" Pascoe died Monday January 8, after a brief struggle with cancer. Wes was born April 24, 1948 in Rapid City, South Dakota, grew up in New Jersey, began his first career in New York City, but discovered and loved Texas and settled in Austin in 1980 where he worked for Dun and Bradstreet for 26 years. Wes performed exuberantly in several bands in Austin, most recently Pubcrawler. He was predeceased by his parents and, the biggest love of his life, his wife Leslie. Wes is survived by his sister-in-law Tracy Wisniewski, his "little brother" Eric Massimino, numerous cousins, his uncle Michael and aunts Andrea and Rosalie, and all of his bandmates. Wes was very appreciative of his caregivers, especially Polly Frizzell. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 13, at St. James Episcopal Church 3701 East MLK . In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in the name of Wesley and Leslie Pascoe to either the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 149100, Austin, TX 78714-9100, or the Sims Foundation, P.O. Box 2152, Austin, TX 78768-2152.  Published in the Austin American-Statesman on 1/12/2007.
