MAX ENDEL , 79, of Houston, Texas passed away Oct. 30, 1997. Mr. Endel was born in Houston Aug. 7, 1919 He attended San Jacinto High School, graduating in 1937. While there, he was active in the ROTC. He then enlisted in the US Army where he was awarded the rank of First Lieutenant, Military Intelligence. He was honorably discharged in 1953 after serving abroad. He was a life-time member of the Association of Former Intelligence officers. Mr. Endel attended the University of Texas where he graduated in the late forties with a Law Degree. He belonged to the Texas State Bar Association. Mr. Endel worked for Amoco Oil, retiring in the Mid 1970's. He then joined Aminoil, Inc. where he worked for seven years as a Senior Lease Analyst. He had many diverse interests, including being a professional magician. He was very proud of his Scottish Ancestry & was a member of the Heather & Thistle Society of Houston. Max is survived by his first cousin Jean Novotny of Tampa, Fla and W.C. Mays and family, of Schulenburg, Texas.

Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1997.
