JAMES HARMON MABRY, beloved husband, father and friend passed away Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Methodist Hospital in Houston at the age of 72.

Jim was born November 26, 1931 in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan in February 1955 and was a member of the Chi Psi Fraternity. In 1955 Jim moved to Houston where he eventually started a successful machinery business. In 1958 he was received into the Scottish Rite. In his later years Jim enjoyed spending his time on the gulf coast bird watching and working on his beach house. He also enjoyed spending time with family in the serenity and beauty of the hill country.

Jim was laid to rest on Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the Brown Family Cemetery in the Texas Hill Country.

Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Whitworth Mabry , daughters, Gabrielle Ann Knapp and Mary Sue Mabry , son, Charles Whitworth Mabry , grandsons, Mark and James Knapp and sister, Margie Garrison.
