GORDON NORRIS WHITE , son of Ernest LeRoy and Edith Norris White , died in Houston, Texas on July 3 , 2000. He was born in Crossett, Arkansas on July 12, 1936.

Mr. White graduated from Georgia Tech University with a degree in Engineering in 1958 and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He served his country as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He has been a resident of Houston since 1972 where he was an active member of Crosspoint Lutheran Church. He was past Chieftain of Heather and Thistle Society. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Kay Kranz White ; his children Mark Gordon White and his wife Crystal, Mike Kranz and his wife Marianne, and Dianne Kranz White and her husband James; and his grandchildren Devinn White , Harrison Jacob, Keila White , Ryan White and Nicole White , all of Houston. Other survivors include one sister, Norma White Moore and her husband Dr. Robert Moore of Little Rock, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2000 in the chapel of Forest Park Westheimer. Interment to follow at Forest Park Westheimer Memorial donations may be made to Crosspoint Lutheran Church, 700 Westgreen Blvd., Houston, Texas 77450, or the charity of one's choice.
