ANNA E. (Ann) McKAY, 80, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2001. Ann was born on October 13, 1920 in Commerce, TX to Earl and Nina Sandridge. She received her B.A. degree from East Texas State and her Master's degree from the University of Houston. She served as a guidance counselor for many years at Memorial High School and was Past President of Spring Branch Teachers Association. Ann was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Judge (Ret.) Neil McKay; son, Charles McKay and wife, Lynda; cousin, Peggy Hopkins; and her two grandchildren, Scott McKay and Glenna McKay . Friends may call for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2001 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2001 with Rev. William E. Jenkins officiating. Interment Services will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
